Kalaitzakis: "The foul on Papanikolaou shouldn't have been called"

Panagiotis Kalaitzakis expressed his disappointment after Bosnia's defeat to Greece in EuroBasket 2025. In statements to Public Television, Kalaitzakis stressed that the referees' whistles affected his team.

Panagiotis Kalaitzakis: "The game shouldn't have reached that point. Some of the referees' whistles made us lose our minds. I believe that in that specific phase, the foul given to Papanikolaou, nothing should have been whistled."

Kalaitzakis added that his team lost their focus after the first 15 minutes and that they should focus on the match against Spain.
