Chris Silva: 'I loved playing for Sakota'

Chris Silva expressed his admiration for Dragan Sakota, emphasizing his influence on his development as a player.

Chris Silva, who moved to Fenerbahce from AEK, spoke to Sport Klub Serbia about his collaboration with Dragan Sakota. He mentioned that Sakota helped him understand the game in depth and appreciated his experience.

'I like the way he sees the game, a little old school. From the moment I spoke to him, I saw his approach, his experience, his knowledge… When he speaks, he doesn't just tell you what to do, he knows what's happening at every moment. He has experience and uses it, he teaches you the right things,' said Silva.

Silva added: 'For him, every word has weight. When he tells you something, you have to create a picture - that's the game and that's how you have to play. I loved playing for him. He helped me a lot. It's only my second year in Europe and it meant a lot to me that I had such a coach. Even though I only spent three months there, I learned a lot.'
