Malachi Flynn: New Naturalized Player for Turkish National Team

American guard Malachi Flynn has acquired Turkish citizenship and will be available for the Turkish national team, under coach Ergin Ataman. The announcement was made by his team, Bahçeşehir.

The Turkish federation presented Flynn in a video in front of a portrait of Kemal Atatürk, where he stated he was happy to be Turkish. Players such as Shane Larkin, Scottie Wilbekin, and Tarik Biberovic also have Turkish passports and have played with the national team.
