NBA Europe: Adam Silver Targets Euroleague Teams

NBA Commissioner Adam Silver is reportedly planning the creation of NBA Europe, targeting top Euroleague teams. According to reports, the NBA has reached an agreement with FIBA to create a new league.

In this context, initial contacts have already been made with Real Madrid, while Barcelona, Villeurbanne, Fenerbahce, and Alba Berlin are also being targeted.

As the report states, Silver's proposed European league is expected to include 16 teams, with a combination of wealthy investors, teams leaving the EuroLeague, and new clubs in key markets such as Paris and London. There will also be places for teams that earn their entry through domestic leagues or the FIBA Champions League.
