Nate Watson: 'Be ready, the beast will awaken'

Nate Watson, the newly acquired player of Panionios, sent a message to the team's fans ahead of the new season. The American center, who was acquired from Karditsa, stated that he was excited about his transfer to the Nea Smyrni team.

In his statements, Watson referred to his desire to offer a good show to the fans, saying characteristically: 'Be ready for the... beast that will break out again'. He also recalled his match in Glyfada against Panionios, where the fans were calling him to come to the team.

Watson, born on October 19, 1998, is 2.08m tall and has previously played at Providence, where he averaged 11.3 points and 4.6 rebounds. In the 2024-2025 season, before moving to Zaragoza, he had 14.9 points and 7.1 rebounds with Karditsa.
