Nick Calathes on Giannis Antetokounmpo: "He's a clown, one of us"

In a recent interview on the Euroinsiders podcast, Nick Calathes humorously referred to Giannis Antetokounmpo as a "clown."

Specifically, Nick Calathes stated: "He's a clown. He's one of us. He's hilarious, and it's great to play with him. And you know, he's not full of ego."

Calathes also spoke about his time playing for Panathinaikos, saying that when he first joined the team in 2009, he didn't know his teammates, such as Dimitris Diamantidis and Vassilis Spanoulis.

"My brother Pat told me I was coming to the best team in Europe, and I replied, 'they need me.' They had Diamantidis, Spanoulis, Jasikevicius, Drew Nicholas. I couldn't tell you who Diamantidis and Spanoulis were," he noted.
