Lonnie Walker Signs with Maccabi Tel Aviv

Maccabi Tel Aviv has announced the acquisition of Lonnie Walker, with the 26-year-old American signing a three-year contract worth approximately $10 million.
Walker turned down offers from NBA teams, including the Knicks, Bulls, and Mavericks, to continue his career in the Euroleague. The contract includes NBA out options for the 2025, 2026, and 2027 seasons.
Last season, Walker played for Žalgiris Kaunas in the Euroleague, averaging 13.6 points, 3.2 rebounds, and 1.8 assists. He then played for the Philadelphia 76ers in the NBA.
Maccabi's technical director, Claudio Coldebella, played a significant role in the player's decision.
