Olympiacos Ponders Move for Jared Butler

Olympiacos is considering a move for Jared Butler to strengthen their backcourt. The American point guard, after his stint in the NBA with the Philadelphia 76ers, has been proposed to the 'red and whites'. Partizan has also shown interest in the player.

The 25-year-old Butler, standing at 1.91m, has played in the NBA since 2021, after being drafted by the New Orleans Pelicans. He won the NCAA college championship with the Baylor Bears, averaging 16.7 points, 4.8 assists, and 3.3 rebounds.

In the NBA, he has also played for the Jazz, Thunder, Wizards, and 76ers, averaging 6.7 points, 2.8 assists, and 1.5 rebounds in 148 games. He recently signed with the Phoenix Suns but was released.

In a friendly game against the Lakers, Butler scored 35 points, 9 assists, and 7 rebounds.
