Svetislav Pešić Resigns as Serbia's National Team Coach

Svetislav Pešić has resigned as the coach of the Serbian national team following their unsuccessful run in EuroBasket 2025.

The experienced coach stated that it is the right time for another coach to take over the reins of the team. "It was a privilege to be the coach of the Serbian national team," he noted.

Pešić added that he will continue to offer his experience and support to President Čović and the entire basketball team, while pledging to assist in the selection of the new coach.
