Giannakis stressed that Greece has stronger players, with Antetokounmpo being the team's main weapon. "He is unstoppable in the transition game, the best in the world at it," he noted.

Referring to Spain, Giannakis commented that they have many young and talented players, but they may need more strength. He also recalled the 2006 World Cup final, where Greece was defeated by Spain, as well as the 2007 EuroBasket semi-final.
