Sergio Llull: "Spanoulis and These Three Are Far Superior Players Than Me"

Sergio Llull, in a recent interview, spoke highly of Vassilis Spanoulis and some other players, emphasizing that he considers them superior to himself.

The Spanish basketball player explained why he didn't play in the NBA, saying that players like Navarro, Spanoulis, and Teodosić failed to have the careers they deserved in America, even though they were more talented than him.

Specifically, Llull stated: "One of the reasons I didn't go to the NBA was that, for example, Navarro had already gone for a year and returned, Spanoulis too. When I talk about these three or four, in terms of talent and overall, they are far superior to me. If such players went there and didn't get opportunities, didn't play, or returned immediately, that was one of the reasons."

Llull added that he preferred to stay in Europe where he had the trust of his coach and was competing for titles.
