Czech Republic: Vesely and Satoransky to Miss EuroBasket 2025

The Czech Republic will compete in EuroBasket 2025 without two of its key players. Following Jan Vesely, Tomas Satoransky has announced that he will not participate due to a back injury.

Satoransky, in a post on Instagram, expressed his regret for his absence, stressing that his health condition does not allow him to help the team as he would like. He also stated his desire to say goodbye to the national team on the court.

"I had a very difficult decision to make today... My back simply forced me not to participate," he wrote.

The absences of Vesely and Satoransky are a significant blow to the Czech team ahead of the tournament.
