A 55-year-old man from Texas has been sentenced to 2.5 years in prison for harassing and stalking WNBA star Caitlin Clark. Michael Lewis, as he is named, had told police he was in a 'fantasy relationship' with the Indiana Fever athlete.

Lewis was arrested on January 12 after being accused of sending hundreds of threatening and sexually suggestive messages to Clark via the X platform (formerly Twitter) between December 12, 2024, and January 11, 2025.

The court has prohibited Lewis from approaching Clark and attending Indiana Fever and Indiana Pacers events. He will also have no internet access during his imprisonment.
