Tyrese Haliburton, the Pacers' leader, sent an emotional message after undergoing surgery on his Achilles tendon. His injury overshadowed the NBA Finals, where the Thunder defeated the Pacers.

Following the surgery, Haliburton posted a photo of himself forming a heart with his hands and wrote: "Don't know how to explain it other than shock. Words cannot express the pain of this letdown."

Haliburton expressed his disappointment that the injury occurred at such an important moment in his career but emphasized his determination to return stronger. "At 25, I already know that God never gives you more than you can handle. I know I'll come out of this as a better person and a better player."

He also apologized to the Indiana fans, saying, "Indiana sorry. If there are fans who don't deserve this, it's you." He stated his determination to return and fight for the team.

He also referred to Kobe Bryant's words, finding inspiration to deal with the situation: "There are much more important problems in the world than a torn Achilles. Stop feeling sorry for yourself, find the positive in it, and work with the same faith, motivation, and will as always."

Haliburton thanked everyone for the love and support he has received and expressed optimism about the future.
