Jordan-Bryant Autograph Card Sold for $12.9 Million

A rare trading card featuring the autographs of Michael Jordan and Kobe Bryant sold for $12.9 million at a Heritage Auctions event.

The Upper Deck Exquisite Collection Dual Logoman Autographs Jordan & Bryant 2007-08 card, a unique 1-of-1 item, surpassed the previous record of $12.6 million held by the 1952 Topps Mickey Mantle card.

Chris Ivy, Heritage's director of sports auctions, emphasized that the Exquisite series was revolutionary and remains a symbol of prestige for basketball card collectors.

The card was graded PSA 6, but the condition is not considered as important for a unique piece.

The buyer remains anonymous.
