Michalis Zambidis: 'Iron Mike' Returns to the Ring

Michalis Zambidis, also known as 'Iron Mike', has announced his return to the ring via an Instagram video. The kickboxing champion, without giving many details, foreshadowed his comeback, writing 'Comeback' and '…stay tuned…'

The announcement was made on the morning of Saturday, December 27th. The 45-year-old athlete, one of the top kickboxers in the history of the sport, did not provide more information, but the fact of the post is considered significant news in Greek sports.

Zambidis' last kickboxing match was in June 2015 at SEF, where he defeated Steve Moxon from Australia. In 2019, he competed in a boxing match in Germany, where he also won.
