Almeyda: "Each missile costs 50 million euros, why not food?"

Matías Almeyda, coach of Sevilla and former coach of AEK, expressed his opinion on the absurdity of war, along with comments about Barcelona's Lamine Yamal.

Ahead of Sevilla's match against Barcelona at Camp Nou, Almeyda, although suspended, stated: "We must understand that football is a reflection of society. Today we have wars and we are talking about a game. There is a war and I am trying to figure out how to set up the team."

Continuing, Almeyda emphasized: "If each missile costs 50 million euros, why not give that money to food and infrastructure?" Referring to Barcelona, he said: "For me, Barcelona has the best player in the world, Lamine Yamal."
