Anorthosis: Why Setin and not Michalas? Questions about the choices

Questions arise regarding the selection of Tobias Setin at Anorthosis, especially after his appearance in the match against ENP. One wonders by what criteria he was chosen and why he was offered a new contract.
Setin shows weaknesses in basic elements such as control, passing, and crossing, issues that are concerning for a first division player. The question arises whether the possibility of an embargo is the only reason for his selection.
In a difficult economic situation, one wonders why Anorthosis does not utilize its own talents. There is the 18-year-old international Charalambos Michalas, who can play both right and left in defense. He could, for example, be the second left-back behind Kiko.
Michalas is one of their own, Cypriot, more economical, and with the potential for development. There are other examples in other positions, but the case of Setin is indicative. What have Setin and Tanti shown to deserve a new contract at Anorthosis?
One would expect, in a period of problems, a plan to utilize players from the second team. Instead, Anorthosis acquired a large number of players with limited capabilities, without giving opportunities to young Cypriots.
