Atromitos Appoints Dusan Kerkez as Head Coach

Atromitos FC has announced the appointment of Dusan Kerkez as the team's new head coach. The Serbian coach has signed a 1.5-year contract.

Dusan Kerkez, born on May 1, 1976, in Belgrade, has coached teams in Cyprus, Serbia, and Bulgaria. He was also an international football player for the national team of Bosnia and Herzegovina.

He began his coaching career in the academies of AEL Limassol and Anorthosis, and in 2018 he took over his first professional team, AEL Limassol. During his tenure at AEL, he won the Cypriot Cup in 2019.

Kerkez also worked at Čukarički in Serbia and Botev Plovdiv in Bulgaria, where he won the Bulgarian Cup in 2024. Before joining Atromitos, he was the coach of CSKA Sofia.

Alongside Dusan Kerkez, the coaching team will include Milovan Sikimic, Rafael Mateus, and fitness coach Igor Delibasic.

In his statements, Dusan Kerkez thanked Atromitos for the opportunity and expressed his desire to reward the management with his work and results.
