Germany Thrash Slovakia, Qualify for 2026 World Cup

Germany thrashed Slovakia 6-0 at the Red Bull Arena, mathematically securing their place in the 2026 World Cup. Slovakia finished second in Group 1, qualifying for the play-offs.
Goals for Germany were scored by Voltemande (18′), Gnabry (29′), Sane (36′, 41′), Baku (67′) and Ouedraogo (79′).
In another match of the group, Northern Ireland defeated Luxembourg 1-0 with a penalty by Donley (44′).
In Group 7, the Netherlands prevailed over Lithuania 4-0, having already qualified. Reijnders (16′), Gakpo (58′ pen.), Simons (60′) and Malen (62′) scored.
In Group 12, the Czech Republic defeated Gibraltar 6-0 and qualified for the play-offs. Douděra (5′), Chorý (18′), Coufal (32′), Souček (44′) and Hranáč (51′) scored.
In a match with no stakes, Croatia defeated Montenegro 3-2, overturning a 2-0 deficit. Osmanić (3′) and Krstović (17′) scored for Montenegro, while Perišić (37′ pen.), Jakić (72′) and Vlašić (87′) scored for Croatia.
