Official: Theodosis Machairas to Iraklis

Theodosis Machairas is officially a player for Iraklis. The 25-year-old forward, after leaving AEK, has signed a one-year contract with the Thessaloniki team.

In its announcement, Iraklis stated: "PAE POT IRAKLIS announces the start of our collaboration with footballer Theodosis Machairas for the next year. The 25-year-old attacking midfielder previously belonged to the AEK team, while last season he played in the Dutch league with the Vitesse jersey. We welcome him to our family and wish him a good year without injuries, with many successes with the IRAKLIS jersey in the effort we are all making together to bring our team back to Super League 1."

Machairas bid farewell to AEK with a message on Instagram, stating: "After 7 years, it's time to say goodbye and a big thank you to the club with which I became attached and will always have in my heart."
