Skendija Secures Historic Champions League Qualification Against Steaua

Skendija has made history, defeating Steaua 2-1 in Bucharest to secure qualification for the 3rd qualifying round of the Champions League with a 3-1 aggregate score.

This victory guarantees Skendija's participation in the League Phase of the Conference League. Steaua, coached by Ilias Charalampous, took the lead with Cizotti in the 28th minute, but Latifi equalized five minutes later. Krstevski scored the winning goal in the 87th minute.

In the next round, Skendija will face Qarabag. Malmö also qualified, defeating Riga.
