K. Koulierakis: "My dream was always to play football"

International football player Konstantinos Koulierakis discussed his career and dreams at a Prosport event in Athens.
He spoke about his family's support, emphasizing the role of his mother and father in his development. "The hardest part wasn't for me. It was for my mom. For a child to leave home at 13–14 to go to another city isn't easy. But for me, it was my dream." He also stated, "My mom is always my first phone call. But my character, both as a person and as a football player, has been largely shaped by my father."
Speaking about his experience at PAOK, he noted, "At PAOK, you learn from a young age that there's no 'it's okay.' You learn to withstand the pressure, because otherwise you can't stand in the first team."
Referring to his transfer to Wolfsburg, he explained that he chose the environment that would help him develop. "I chose the environment that will help me work and develop. It's a place that allows you to concentrate only on football."
The event was attended by the General Secretary of Sports Giorgos Mavrotas and the President of EPO Makis Gagatsis.
PAOK Academy General Director Vangelis Pourliotopoulos referred to Koulierakis' consistency and discipline.
His coach at PAOK, Razvan Lucescu, stated, "You are a very rare player for this era in world football."
