Kerkez: "We beat a big club, PAOK"

Atromitos coach Dušan Kerkez expressed his satisfaction after his team's 2-0 victory over PAOK. In his statements, Kerkez congratulated his players for their effort and performance in the match.

"We broke the curse. First of all, congratulations to my players. They gave everything to win the game. We beat a very good team, with a very good coach, a big club," said Kerkez.

Referring to the pressure exerted by PAOK during the match, Kerkez admitted that his team was under pressure, but his players managed to cope. "In the game, they sometimes put pressure on us, it's true, because they are a good team, they have very good players, but my players deserve a lot of credit because they played a good game."

Kerkez also stressed the importance of good training and positive energy. "The players train very well every day and when that happens, God will see you and give you help."

Finally, he referred to his team's next match against Larissa, stressing that it will be a difficult game. "I don't want to talk about many games ahead, now we have an important game against Larissa who have a good, new coach and will make it difficult for us."
