Lannoy: Areas for Improvement for Referees

The president of KED, Stéphane Lannoy, emphasized the need to improve the physical condition and mental preparation of referees during a seminar organized by EPO and KED for representatives of PAE and journalists in Athens.

Lannoy, along with KED members Paolo Valeri and Roberto Alonso Fernandez, presented statistics on VAR interventions and changes to the rules that will apply in the new season. Among these, the goalkeeper will have 8 seconds of ball possession, and there are also changes to the execution of penalties.

In addition, the collaboration of EPO with Avance as a refereeing sponsor for the next two years was announced.
