Lucescu: "The team is drained..."

Razvan Lucescu, after PAOK's draw at AEL's home ground, expressed concern about his team's condition. Speaking to Cosmote TV, the Romanian coach emphasized that his players are burdened due to the continuous match schedule.

"The schedule we have doesn't allow us to be fresh. The team appears drained. We play every three days, the players' minds are drained," Lucescu stated.

He added that the team doesn't have time for training, as it focuses on recovery for the next match. Despite the difficulties, Lucescu stated that the team will fight to manage the situation.

Referring to the match against AEL, he said: "We had a very good first half, we discussed in the second half that we should keep them as far away from our goal as possible, because Larissa was fresher. The goal came from a static phase from afar, where we didn't get the ball out as we should have."
