Mantalos: "We won with beautiful football, now Anderlecht"

AEK defeated Panserraikos 2-0 in the league opener. Marko Nikolic rotated the squad, but Petros Mantalos remained a starter.

Mantalos, awarded Cosmote Telekom MVP, stated: "I am satisfied. We keep the victory between the two crucial games against Anderlecht. We had a good performance and took the three points. We had control, didn't concede many chances, and kept a clean sheet. We scored two goals, could have scored more, but the goal was the three points."
