Bayer Leverkusen: Sacked Ten Hag After Just 3 Games

Bayer Leverkusen has sacked coach Erik Ten Hag after just three games in charge. The decision was made after a poor start in the Bundesliga, where the team lost at home to Hoffenheim (1-2) and drew 3-3 with Werder Bremen, despite leading 1-3 and playing with an extra player.
Ten Hag had taken over the team recently, and his dismissal comes as a surprise. This is the second dismissal for the Dutchman in a year, as he was also sacked by Manchester United in October 2024.
Leverkusen is Olympiacos' opponent in the 7th matchday of the League Phase of the Champions League.
