Bakasetas: "Let's not make the same mistakes in the Nations League"

Tasos Bakasetas stressed the need for the Greek National Team to avoid past mistakes in the Nations League, following the 1-0 defeat to Paraguay in a friendly match.

The captain of the National Team referred to the departure of Petros Mantalos, calling him an important part of the team. "It's a bit strange for me to see a player who we essentially started with stopping. That's life. You grow up and make some decisions. I wish him all the best and thank him personally and on behalf of the team for everything he gave. He is a very important presence for everyone."

Regarding the National Team's elimination, Bakasetas stated: "We didn't hide from the elimination. We didn't pay attention to the details and we were punished... Let it be a lesson for the future."
