Bakasetas: "The 1-2 is unreal, we can't lose games like this"

Tasos Bakasetas expressed his disappointment after Panathinaikos' 1-2 defeat to Go Ahead Eagles at OAKA. The captain of the "Greens" described the score as "unreal", stressing that his team should not have conceded two goals so easily.

Bakasetas pointed to the lack of concentration and poor positioning, emphasizing that the goals conceded were identical, coming from counter-attacks. He also stressed the need to quickly forget the defeat and focus on the next important match on Sunday.

"The score is as unreal as it gets. I think it was very simple, the game could have ended earlier, because we had the opportunities to do so, but that doesn't mean we could concede two goals so easily," Bakasetas said.

The Greek international added that the result concerns the whole team and that they need to see what they did wrong in order to improve.
