Benitez: Disappointed After Panathinaikos Draw

Rafa Benitez expressed his disappointment after Panathinaikos' 0-0 draw with Panetolikos at Leoforos Stadium. The Panathinaikos coach stated that despite the changes in the lineup, his team created opportunities to win, but failed to do so.
Rafa Benitez's full statements: "We had in mind that we would make several changes but even with this lineup the team in the last part of the game created several clear chances to be able to win. Unfortunately we didn't succeed, it's something we wanted very much, I'm disappointed not only for this but with many things but I didn't want to say more because anyway it won't change the outcome of the match."
Regarding Tzirivelias' return, he said: "He is an important player for us, he showed a lot of willingness and this is only positive for the future."
Regarding the game against Betis, he stated: "I hope we do well, that we play a good game and that we can give our fans a very great joy."
Panetolikos coach Anastasiou said: "It's hard to say that you will get 0-0 at Leoforos from this Panathinaikos. We made a great effort, we wanted it, but that's football. If we don't score goals against the big teams, you don't have many opportunities. It's a pity because we made a great effort."
