Panathinaikos coach Rafa Benitez, in a press conference, expressed his condolences for the recent accident with victims of PAOK fans in Romania.

Ahead of the match against Roma at OAKA, Benitez stressed that the team needs time to improve, while also referring to the club's transfer moves. "We need 2-3 transfer periods to make what we want happen," he stated.

Benitez referred to the difficulties Panathinaikos faces due to injuries and suspensions, as well as the effort to strengthen the roster. He also stressed the importance of stability and improvement of the team in all competitions.

Regarding the match against Roma, Benitez acknowledged the quality of the opponent and its coach, while stating that Panathinaikos will try to do its best, despite the absences.

Finally, he left open the possibility of Santino Antino making his debut even in the game against Kifissia.
