Everton Wins at New Stadium, Nottingham Forest Draws

Everton inaugurated their new stadium, «Hill Dickinson Stadium», with a 2-0 victory over Brighton. Ndiaye opened the scoring in the 23rd minute, making history as the first scorer at the new stadium and the last at «Goodison Park». Garner made it 2-0 in the 52nd minute. Pickford saved Welbeck's penalty in the 77th minute.

Nottingham Forest drew 1-1 with Crystal Palace. Schlupp gave Crystal Palace the lead in the 37th minute, while Hudson-Odoi equalized for Nottingham Forest in the 58th minute. Jesus hit the post in stoppage time.
