Nikolic: AEK must overcome defeats

Marko Nikolic, after AEK's defeat by Celje and ahead of the match against Kifisia, stressed the need for the team to overcome defeats. The Serbian coach stated that a chronic problem of AEK is its inability to leave defeats behind.

Referring to the defeat by Celje, Nikolic said: "I'm more sorry now that I've seen the match again. We gave everything to the opponent. We have to leave it in history. The club's problem is that it suffered excessively from defeats."

For the match against Kifisia, he noted: "They are very dangerous on counterattacks. They have a player in attack, Tetei, who is very unpredictable. It is a very serious and demanding game ahead of us."
