Nikolic: 'Playing Behind Closed Doors is Always a Great Stupidity'

AEK coach Marko Nikolic has expressed his opposition to the team's punishment of playing without fans, ahead of the match against Levadiakos for the 22nd matchday of the Stoiximan Super League.

In statements to Cosmote, Nikolic stressed: 'For me, this punishment of playing behind closed doors is always a great stupidity. Because on the one hand we are trying to bring people to the stadium and on the other hand we are closing the stadium to them.'

Referring to the match against Levadiakos, Nikolic noted: 'We are facing a really very good team. They are where they are, in fourth place, not by mistake, not because it happened. But because they have quality, they have a good coach, a good style of play, good football players. And they play very good football.'

In addition, he added: 'I think it will be a tough game. The two teams will be close and the details will decide it, I hope on our side.'
