Newcastle - Qarabag 6-1: Gordon's Four Goals Secure Victory

Newcastle defeated Qarabag 6-1 in Baku, virtually securing their place in the Champions League round of 16. Anthony Gordon scored four goals in the first half, dominating the match.

Gordon opened the scoring in the 3rd minute, with Tio doubling the lead in the 8th minute. Gordon added two more goals (32', 45+2') from the penalty spot, making it 5-0. Jafarquliyev reduced the score to 5-1 in the 55th minute, while Murphy made it 6-1 in the 72nd minute.

The return match is scheduled for February 24th in England.
