Concern for PAOK regarding Kiril Despodov. According to reports from Bulgaria, the international winger suffered a thigh strain and will be out of action for approximately three weeks. Despodov left the Bulgarian national team and returned to Thessaloniki for examinations.

If the strain is confirmed, it will be the player's second this season. He will try to be ready for the match against Asteras Tripolis on September 27 or 28, as well as the matches against Celta (October 2) and Olympiacos (October 5).

Despodov's potential absence is causing concern for the team and coach Razvan Lucescu.

According to Bulgarian media, Despodov suffered a first to second degree thigh strain during training before the match against Spain. The Bulgarian football federation has sent the test results to PAOK.
