Drągowski: "The goalkeeping coaches did all the work in the penalties against Shakhtar"

Bartłomiej Drągowski attributed his success in the penalty shootout against Shakhtar to the goalkeeping coaches of Panathinaikos, Giorgos Mountakis and Luís Esteves.

In statements to the Polish federation, Drągowski emphasized: "The goalkeeping coaches did all the work. I just went where they told me to. Before the match I told them 'you see, you decide, I go where you tell me' and they got almost everything right."

The goalkeeper of the "Greens" revealed that he was receiving signals from the bench on where to dive, which proved decisive.

Panathinaikos qualified for the playoffs of the Europa League, where they will face Samsunspor.
