Novak Djokovic Becomes Co-owner of French Football Club

Tennis star Novak Djokovic has become a co-owner of French football club Le Mans, which plays in Ligue 2. The announcement was made on Friday (1/8). Former Formula 1 drivers Felipe Massa and Kevin Magnussen have also acquired shares.
The investment is led by the Brazilian group OutField, co-founded by Pedro Oliveira, with participation from Georgios Fragoulis, CEO of OakBerry.
“Djokovic will offer significant value to our club,” Le Mans stated. Massa and Magnussen will contribute to building a bridge between football and motorsports.
Le Mans begins its season in Ligue 2 on August 9, with a match against Guingamp.
