Panathinaikos Strengthens Squad with French Market Players

Panathinaikos continues to strengthen its roster with players from the French market. Following last year's successful addition of Azzedine Ounahi, the team acquired Pedro Chirivella and Alban Lafont from Nantes. Recently, the loan of Anas Zaroury from Lens, with a purchase option, was announced.

Azzedine Ounahi was acquired in a similar manner, on loan from Marseille. Panathinaikos officials have set more affordable purchase clauses for the new players, unlike Ounahi's high clause.

Pedro Chirivella was acquired with a regular transfer from Nantes. Upon his arrival, Anas Zaroury stated that he was ready to help the team immediately, having 166 appearances, 29 goals, and 17 assists in his career.

The possibility of Azzedine Ounahi's return remains open, with developments expected after Panathinaikos' matches against Shakhtar.
