Panathinaikos Qualifies for Europa League Group Stage with Dragowski as Key Player

Panathinaikos secured their qualification for the League Phase of the Europa League with a 0-0 draw against Samsunspor in Turkey. Goalkeeper Bartłomiej Drągowski delivered outstanding saves, keeping a clean sheet for his team.
In the match held at the «Samsun Yeni 19 Mayıs Stadium», Panathinaikos maintained the advantage gained from their 2-1 victory in the first leg at OAKA. Despite opportunities created by Ioannidis and Tetê, the team didn't manage to score, but their defensive solidity was enough to secure qualification.
Rui Vitória lined up the team with two changes compared to the first game, with Đuričić and Ioannidis taking positions in the starting eleven. Drągowski guarded the goal, while Kotsiras, Kyriakopoulos, Palmer-Brown, and Toumba formed the defensive line.
Samsunspor pressed from the start, with Drągowski impressively saving Emre's effort in the 8th minute. Panathinaikos responded with an opportunity from Kyriakopoulos in the 24th minute, while Ioannidis missed a great chance in the 42nd minute. In the second half, Tetê had a one-on-one with the goalkeeper but failed to score.
Panathinaikos will learn their opponents in the League Phase of the Europa League at Friday's draw.
