Mitoglou completes transfer to Sampdoria

Gerasimos Mitoglou's transfer from AEK to Sampdoria is complete. According to «TuttoMercatoWeb», the international stopper has successfully passed medical examinations in Genoa.

La Repubblica had revealed that Mitoglou agreed with the Italian team and will join them from January 3rd.

Gerasimos Mitoglou had been out of Marko Nikolic's plans from the start of the season, not playing or training with the team. He had filed an appeal for the termination of his contract, citing a reduction in his personality. AEK had also filed a similar appeal.
