PAS Giannina to Field Barely Enough Players for Greek Cup Match

PAS Giannina has begun preparations for the new season with many open questions, ahead of their first official match in the Greek Cup next Tuesday (August 18).

The administration has not yet received the participation certificate from the EEA, hindering transfers. However, they secured a one-week extension as Nikos Siontis tries to lift the seven FIFA bans.

PAS Giannina will participate in the Greek Cup against Volos on Tuesday (August 19). Interim coach Alekos Tatsis will have only 12 players available: six with active cards from last season (Doumas, Kafenzis, Gkogkas, Kaperdas, Tzovaras, Athanasiou) and six players from last year's U19 team (Grigoriou, Ntekoumes, Gkrestas, Halatsis, Anagnostou, Floros).

The team also announced the dispatch of season tickets for the 2025-26 season.
