Maksimović's Sale to Shabab Al Ahli Finalized

The transfer of Nemanja Maksimović from Panathinaikos to Shabab Al Ahli has been finalized. The Serbian midfielder is expected to travel to the Emirates immediately to complete the agreement. The transfer is expected to bring 5.2 million euros to Panathinaikos.

Maksimović played for Panathinaikos for the last time in the match against Shakhtar. Shabab Al Ahli, coached by Paulo Sousa, offered Maksimović a contract with annual earnings of 2.5 million euros, with a total duration of three years, bringing his total earnings to 7.5 million euros until 2028.

The sale of Maksimović is the third most expensive in the history of Panathinaikos, after Giorgos Vagiannidis and Djibril Cissé.
