Panathinaikos: Kourbelis requests to leave Al Khaleej

Saudi Arabian reports indicate that Dimitris Kourbelis has requested to leave Al Khaleej and wishes to return to Greece, two years after his transfer.

The international midfielder, who has a contract for another season, has reportedly approached Panathinaikos, but is not included in coach Rui Vitoria's initial plans. Nevertheless, Kourbelis hopes for a change of decision or another opportunity in the Stoiximan Super League.

Kourbelis' potential return has been discussed at Panathinaikos as an alternative solution to strengthen the roster and add a Greek element.
