Panathinaikos: Taborda Arrived in Greece Without Talking to Vitoria

Vicente Taborda revealed that he accepted Panathinaikos' proposal without discussing his role in the team with Rui Vitoria.
Taborda's arrival in Athens coincided with Panathinaikos' match against Levadiakos. The 24-year-old attacking midfielder stated that he agreed to join Panathinaikos without speaking to coach Rui Vitoria.
"I didn't have the opportunity to speak with the coach. But I spoke with the technical director and I'm waiting to speak with Mr. Vitoria. I am very happy to be here and this is a beautiful challenge for me," Taborda said.
Taborda agreed to join the team without discussing with the coach, which is not unprecedented, as coaches are often not involved in transfer discussions. The transfer of Taborda is credited to the technical director, Giannis Papadimitriou, and the head of scouting, Makis Livathinos.
Panathinaikos fans are waiting to see Taborda play, as his style is reminiscent of former players such as Ezequiel Gonzalez and Juan Jose Borelli.
