Panathinaikos Takes Precautions with Pellistri and Świderski Ahead of National Team Duties

Panathinaikos has taken precautionary measures regarding international players Facundo Pellistri and Karol Świderski ahead of their duties with the national teams of Uruguay and Poland, respectively, for the 2026 World Cup qualifiers.

Following the call-up of the two players, Panathinaikos sent complete medical files to the national teams detailing their current health status. Pellistri has recently returned to action, while Świderski has not yet fully recovered from his muscle injury.

This move was made to ensure caution and avoid any complications, given that clubs cannot prevent players from joining their national teams.
