Panionios to face disciplinary hearing after Marko match

Panionios has been summoned to a disciplinary hearing by the Single-Member First Instance Disciplinary Body of Super League 2, following their match against Marko. The hearing is scheduled for March 12, 2026.

The summons comes after Panionios reported that an unidentified individual outside the stadium threw a firecracker-dynamite towards Gate 2. Panionios described it as a murderous act.

According to the charges, Panionios faces a fine, in accordance with Article 15, paragraph 2a of the EPO Disciplinary Code, which concerns the introduction and use of pyrotechnic materials in the stadium.

The article stipulates a financial penalty ranging from 1,000 to 50,000 euros, with the possibility of doubling in case of recurrence.
