PAOK Considers Benjamin Bouchouari from Saint-Étienne

PAOK is considering 23-year-old Saint-Étienne midfielder Benjamin Bouchouari to strengthen its midfield. Bouchouari, born in November 2001, holds Belgian and Moroccan citizenship.

He began his career in academies in Belgium and continued in the youth teams of Willem, Fortuna, and Roda in the Netherlands. He debuted for the first team of Roda in the 2020/21 season.

Saint-Étienne acquired him in the summer of 2022 and renewed his contract until 2026. In his first year in Ligue 2, he was included in the league's best XI. The French club is reportedly asking for around €5 million for his transfer, while the player's annual earnings are close to one million euros.
