New Rule Applied for the First Time in Tottenham-Burnley

A new Premier League rule was applied for the first time during the Tottenham-Burnley match. According to the rule, if the goalkeeper holds the ball for more than 8 seconds, a corner is awarded.
Specifically, Burnley's goalkeeper, Dubravka, held the ball for longer than the permitted limit, forcing referee Michael Oliver to award a corner to Tottenham.
This rule replaces the previous one, which stipulated an indirect free kick if the goalkeeper held the ball for more than 6 seconds. In the match incident, Dubravka held the ball for approximately 15 seconds.
